Monastery of Saint Maria of Kostar

The Church of St. Mary of Kostar rises on the eastern side of the ancient city of Finiq, and is located inside a cave on Mount Kostar. The northwestern part was first built in 1332 and, later, in the years 1690-1770 was unified with the rest. It is dedicated to St. Mary and August 15 is its day of celebration, turning it into a magnificent regional pilgrimage.
