About 300-400 m from the bay of Kakome, there is the fantastic beach of Krrorëze, one of the most beautiful and most frequented beaches in Saranda. You can go there only by boat. The distance from Saranda to Krrorëz is covered by speedboat in 25-30 minutes, and by tourist boat in 60-75 minutes. The sand is called “residual sand” because during the winter it penetrates into the sea, while during the hot season it goes back to the place where it was, a phenomenon that is realized by the aided sea and the configuration of the relief. Therefore, the beach sand is clean, with a lot of light, fine on the larger surface and very hot, which creates ideal conditions for a healthy and relaxing beach. It is almost virgin except for one two-story building. Krorëza beach is one of the other jewels of the Albanian Riviera, a beach that you can fall in love with at first sight as soon as you visit and enjoy it again. Above the beach in an elevated place there is a monastery with the same name, Krrorëza Monastery. It is a partially dilapidated building, the murals on the sides of the building are still preserved. Of the 6 environments that exist today, only one has a roof, made of stone. The view that unfolds before you from the monastery is fantastic. You can go there via a footpath, for 10-15 minutes, and you can also go from Kakome via a footpath. Often different groups of foreign and local tourists go hiking in this area. Another miracle of the króreza beach is the clear, crystal water, with a very fascinating blue color.
